January was an interesting month for us. Besides the Bridal Expo at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods, we also had three photo booths. One was for the Country School in Madison, CT for an annual school dance; one was for Quinnipiac Law School and their annual Barrister’s Ball in Cromwell, CT; and one for was for a beautiful wedding reception in downtown Hartford, CT. The two school events were new territory for us, but we’re hoping to see a lot more school events this year such as proms, graduations, and other holiday parties. As usual the photo booth was a hit, especially with the kids at the school dance who kept us busier than ever. The Barrister’s Ball was our biggest event to date with over 300 people. Thankfully we recently upgraded all of our booth printers to high-speed dye-sublimation professional-grade photo printers that make gorgeous and long-lasting prints, so we were able to easily keep with the high demand and everyone went away happy. Whoever you choose to provide your photo booth, make sure they use dye-sublimation printers…it makes a world of difference, and it’s one of the things that separates Connecticut Photo Booths from the rest.
